We ONLY sell Kaiser in Maryland, Washington DC, or Virginia. It is available in other states, but we don't sell it there and are otherwise unfamiliar. The attractive features of the Kaiser plan is that if you have a 10:30am appointment, they generally see you at 10:30am. And, if the doctor gives you a prescription you get it filled in the same building before you leave --- need a specialist...same building. Get the picture? It's a facility and all of your health needs are covered in one place. Emergencies can still be covered at your local hospitals. If you need maternity coverage in DC or Virginia, the coverage is hard to beat because their rates include maternity whereas it is an extra benefit usually costing $125-$400 additional per month with other plans.

Tips on Applying for Kaiser Health Insurance
With Kaiser you need to print out the application, fill it in and mail it in WITH payment. Once we receive your application you should receive a confirmation of that application within 48 hours. If you don't, please contact us by clicking on the "Leave Us A Message" icon (on the left) to inquire. You can certainly do that at the time of application to speed the process.We'll send you an e-mail when your application arrives and then send you weekly e-mails thereafter to keep you informed of the progress.
