Tips on Applying for UHC Health Insurance

With UHC you can apply online direct with the carrier or print out an application and mail it in. We strongly suggest applying online as the underwriting can be done in as little as 24-48 hours. Payment does need to accompany the application and is of course refundable should you change your mind or are declined coverage.

When you are finished your application online your screen will look like this (click here to see sample screen). We find that many times people will bail out of the application before e-signing because they think they're done. If you don't see this message then you're not done yet. If you get stuck just call.

Once you apply you should receive a confirmation of that application within 48 hours. If you don't, please contact us by clicking on the "Leave Us A Message" icon (on the left) to inquire. You can certainly do that at the time of application to speed the process.We'll send you an e-mail when your application arrives and then send you weekly e-mails thereafter to keep you informed of the progress.
